Albert Ferreira

Albert Ferreira is the Director Telehealth Operations at The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH. Mr. Ferreira is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of Telehealth and Digital Health offerings throughout the organization. In his role, he collaborates closely with executive leadership, clinicians, operational staff, information systems members and vendor partners, to design, implement and manage a leading, state-of-the-art Telehealth program and Digital Health portfolio. Since arriving in July 2019, he has led the development and growth of MetroHealth’s Direct-to-Consumer, Direct-to-Patient, Provider-to-Provider and Remote Patient Monitoring Telehealth services. Mr. Ferreira is an experienced digital health thought leader with more than twenty five years of technology experience, with the last fifteen focused in healthcare innovation and disruptive technology management. He is subject matter expert in the areas of strategic planning, solution implementation, clinical workflow optimization and patient centric care design. He holds a master’s degree in Health Administration and bachelor degree in Information Systems Management.
