Carleigh Gustafson

Carleigh Gustafson MBA, BSN, RN is the Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations and Integration for the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City. Carleigh leads the coordination, development, and implementation of strategic operations, and core services to bring about integration within Mount Sinai’s Health System. Carleigh has over 18 years of experience in healthcare. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Medicine. She has held leadership positions overseeing Emergency Medicine Service Lines, developed Manhattan’s first Freestanding Emergency Department in Greenwich Village and has implemented innovative approaches in telehealth. As a volunteer, Carleigh has done medical work in impoverished areas of Africa, Asia, South America, Canada and the US. Carleigh received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. She also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University. Carleigh lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.
