About this speaker
Chris is the clinical director for the Liverpool Neonatal Partnership, providing neonatal services across both Liverpool Women's (LWH) and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. They have one of the largest Neonatal Intensive Care services in the UK with 44 cots on the LWH site and a further nine at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Those sites provide the full range of intensive care support to over 1,200 babies a year. Chris has a special interest in mechanical ventilation and neonatal physiological monitoring, particularly neonatal heart rate variability monitoring which formed the basis of his doctorate studies.
