David Fletcher

David Fletcher, MBA, Associate Vice President of Telehealth at Geisinger, has worked for close to 20 years in the healthcare industry. He currently oversees all facets of telehealth for Geisinger’s 13 hospital campuses and more than 50 community clinics and 15 urgent care clinics, which serves more than 3 million residents in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Fletcher is responsible for managing all clinical, technical, business and regulatory activities around telehealth, while also developing and implementing new telehealth programs. During his 13 years at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, the state’s only academic health center, he worked as the Administrative Services Director within the Center for Distance Health (CDH). In this role, as a member of the core management team, Mr. Fletcher worked on a variety of telemedicine programs, including spearheading CDH LIVE, the video interpreting program. He also worked extensively on the Center’s grant applications and compliance efforts, including co-authoring, budgeting, and planning a Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) grant from the Department of Commerce with $102 million in federal funding for a telehealth network deployed to 474 sites throughout Arkansas.
