Joyce Markiewicz

Joyce Markiewicz, is a current Executive Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer for Catholic Health. Ms. Markiewicz, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from D’Youville College and a Master’s Degree in Business from the University at Buffalo School of Management. Doctorate of Humane Letters, D’Youville College Joyce started her career as a Registered Nurse working in the hospital setting both in Buffalo and later in Rochester New York. A real passion for improving care delivery and improving services to the most vulnerable populations lead to a move to operational leadership. She joined Catholic Health in 2005 and has held position of CEO Home and Community Based Care and EVP with extensive responsibilities in ambulatory services and Service Lines. In 2019 she was asked to lead all new business development for the system and assumed the Role of Chief Business Development Officer. She is currently an active Board Member for Hospice Buffalo, Catholic Medical Partners, and Health Home Partners of Western New York. She has been named a Women of Influence by Business First as well as a member of the Buffalo most powerful women list and the most Influential people in 2014-2020.
