Lisa Roche

Lisa has nearly 30 years of medical billing, coding, auditing, and training experience. She currently works for the third largest non-profit health care organization in the United States as the telehealth billing and coding subject matter expert. Lisa has been with this organization for 14 years. Prior to joining the telehealth team, she spent five years as a member of the organizations coding and compliance department, working with providers in multiple states. Lisa has been the organization’s go-to person regarding telehealth coding, compliance, billing, and denials while also providing telehealth documentation and coding training to all newly employed telehealth providers. In preparation for the implementation of ICD-10, Lisa became an AHIMA certified ICD-10 trainer and successfully trained several classes to staff. Lisa is also holds the following certifications through the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC): Certified Professional Coder (CPC) & Certified Evaluation & Management Coder (CEMC). Lisa was also the President of her local AAPC coding chapter.
